Acer, one of the leading manufacturer of IT products is going to launch its new Aspire One line-up Netbook namely, the Acer Aspire One 722 which runs on Windows 7 operating system and is based on AMD Brazos platform and is practical for everyday use. Acer has configured the AO722 Netbook with the ‘water drop’ design that is very equally found on the Happy 2 netbook. The laptop is visually tempting due to its glossy black paint job, but also magnetizes lots of fingerprints. On outlook, the netbook is quite slim and lightweight with only a just weight of 1.25 kg, and is liable to be carried anywhere else.
The upcoming Netbook of Acer supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connectivity option, DirectX 11 API, and is equipped with with Radeon HD 6250 integrated graphics. It is based on AMD Brazos platform which is AMD C-50 Dual Core Processor (1 GHz, 1 MB Cache). It comes with many more high-end specifications like 11.6-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 1.3-megapixel web camera, FineTip keyboard & multi-gesture Touchpad etc.
The Netbook is designed with a chiclet-styled keyboard and a liberal trackpad. The keys of the keyboard are well-spaced and are very comfortable, even during long typing sessions and you will never get irritated how long you may type. Also it is easy to use the trackpad, though the buttons of the trackpad are comparatively hard and require some effort to type. The whole bottom portion is detachable so that you can have quick access to the hard drive and RAM.
The Acer Aspire One 722 Netbook includes Memory card reader and 3 USB 2.0 ports. The USB ports help you to connect any more devices you want to attach with your Netbook. It provides a battery life up to 7 hours constantly. So, no more you have to bother for taking your Netbook to any meeting or conference and never will you again get worried to recharge your PC again and again. Unfortunately, the Acer Aspire One 722 Netbook price and release date is not yet announced in India.
