Alcatel Idol 4 which we discussed last in July is having its debut in Canadian carrier. The smartphone features 5.2-inch display, octa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, 4G LTE, 13MP rear snapper and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It is a high end gadget with decent features. Both Bell and Virgin mobiles are offering the gadget at an affordable price. It stuns everyone with its glass body and full metal frame.
Coming to the specs-sheet, new Alcatel Idol 4 sports 5.2-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. On the software front, the unit is running on Android v6.0 Marshmallow OS. The dimension reads 147.00×72.50×7.10mm and Weighs about 135grams.
On the hardware board, the Alcatel Idol 4 is powered by Octa-Core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC coupled with Adreno 405 graphics card. In terms of memory, the handset boards 3GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and supports additional storage up to 512GB using microSD card.
On the imaging front, the handset sports 13MP rear facing camera with dual-tone LED Flash for photography and video recording. In terms of secondary camera, the handset supports 8MP front snapper with LED flash for video chats and selfies. Connectivity-wise, the unit supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, NFC, USB OTG and 3.5mm audio jack. It is backed up by 2610mAh battery.
Idol 4 is priced at $299.99 off contract but you can also pick the unit by paying nothing on a 24 month contract.
