According to BusinessInsider, Shaw Wu at Sterne Agee has claimed that Apple has slashed LCD panel orders for iPhone 5 due to much improved yield.

According to Shaw Wu, iPhone 5 demand is still very high. Lower component builds and supplier shifts are the two main reasons due to which Apple has slashed LCD panel orders for iPhone 5. He has confirmed that weak demand is not the reason for iPhone LCD panel order cut. Apple had unveiled iPhone 5 on 12th of September, then they had started taking pre-order on September 14th. It was the most successful iPhone launch in Apple’s history. Apple had started selling iPhone 5 on 21st of September. It features A6 chip, iOS 6, 4-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8 MP iSight camera, 1.2 MP FaceTime camera, Siri and 9-pin dock connector. It is expected that iPhone 5S will be launched in June. Jeffries analyst Peter Misek has already reported that iPhone 5S production will start in March.

Peter Misek had predicted that the next generation iPhone will feature NFC, IGZO screen, new super HD camera, improved battery, 128GB storage and it will be launched in six to eight colors.
