Apple to Announce Refreshed MacBook Pro and MacBook Air in June

According to Digitimes, Apple is going to announce the refreshed version of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air in June next year. Supply chain makers have already received this information from Apple. The sources of Digitimes has confirmed that Apple will add new processor in the new version of MacBook Air. They have also confirmed that the design of new MacBook Air will be same as the design of current MacBook Air.

Apple to Announce Refreshed MacBook Pro

According to the sources of Digitimes, 17 million MacBook units will be shipped in next year. More than 9.78 million MacBook units have already been sold this year. Apple had sold 12.88 million MacBook units in 2011. Currently, no information available about the new features of refreshed MacBook Pro. Apple is expected to add new processor in the refreshed version of MacBook Pro. You should note that the most awaited 13-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro was unveiled on October 23rd. It features 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 13-inch screen that includes a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, FaceTime HD camera, Bluetooth 4.0, 8GB RAM, two Thunderbolt ports, Wi-Fi, HDMI port, SDXC card slot, Intel HD Graphics 4000, Headphone port, MagSafe 2 power port and two USB 3 ports.

If you want to buy the refreshed MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, then you have to wait until June. If you don’t want to wait until next year, then you can buy 13-inch MacBook Pro from Apple online store. You have to pay $1,699 to buy 128GB 13-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro and you have to pay $1,999 to buy 256GB 13-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro. It is expected that the price of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will be dropped before the announcement of refreshed MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
