When you find a program or any application unnecessary it’s better to remove or uninstall the program. Removing the unused software or program is necessary as it is housekeeping a lot of hard disk space. But removing them or installing them doesn’t remove the files, folders completely. Revo Uninstaller is a freeware uninstaller that works uniquely that is without having them installed on your system unlike others which need to be installed before you use them. It scans the system hard drive and registry for files that are left out after deletion of the program. It removes the entire program files, auto start entries and all noticeable registry entries upon asking Revo uninstaller to uninstall a program. It is better using software rather manually removing a file.
ZSoft Uninstaller runs as a stand-alone program on a user’s computer. This freeware monitors before and after installation before starting with the removal of program files and registry entries. But, it needs to tell the program to monitor an installation before you start with installation otherwise the uninstaller doesn’t recognize what has changed. ZSoft does this by taking a snapshot of the file and registry both before and after the installation process and then does a comparison between the two.
Total Uninstall is paid software, but the last free version is still available from some download sites. It runs as a stand-alone program on a user’s computer and is quite similar to that of ZSoft as it also monitors before and after installation to remove files and registry entries. However being capable of removal but is little slow compared to that of ZSoft.
MyUninstaller is another freeware to uninstall a program and is a Windows Uninstaller Replacements. It provides detailed information and deletes orphaned and obsolete entries. It doesn’t require installation and saves a list of all installed applications into a text or html file.
Safarp is a Windows Uninstaller Replacements capable to load in a flash, can be run as a standalone program or installed and integrated into the Control Panel.
It is suggested to keep a backup before removing or uninstalling a program on your computer. If any important windows registry entries are deleted it can cause many issues on your PC.
