Canon Announced PowerShot ELPH 500 HS Digital Camera
Canon has announced a new PowerShot family camera namely, Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS which comes configured with an additional spontaneous touch panel. Now get the freedom to roughly do everything right on the LCD such as choosing an AF point, setting disclosure and recording videos, everything with just a touch of your finger. The PowerShot ELPH 500 HS provides you the skill of photography at your control. It comes packed with immense Canon essentials like an f/2.0 lens, the HS SYSTEM, 1080p Full HD video and 24mm Wide-Angle Lens so that you will become able to capture every single moment of your life with lots of care and pleasure.
The Canon HS SYSTEM makes you out from the aggravation of low light shooting. The system delivers clear, blur-free shots with the entire environment, and makes you free from the occasionally surplus effects of using the flash. The camera is a solid combination of the two latest technologies. One is the 12.1 Megapixel CMOS Sensor, which is positioned at the light-receiving exterior for best light response. More light means clearer, blur-free images with whole details and nuance of the images captured even in dark areas. The second is Canon’s advanced DIGIC 4 image processor called the HS System that functions together with the CMOS sensor and vigorously reduces noise and delivers high speed image processing.
The digital camera can captures up to 4,000 x 3,000 pixels still images, and is able to record aka 1080p high definition video at 24 frames per second or at 720p HD video at 30 frames per second or below. It features 3.2-inch diagonal rear-panel PureColor II Touch LCD display, 4.4x optical zoom lens, a true optical image stabilization system, and lots more. The LCD display enables you to see everything easily, whether you’re trying to take a shot or just assessing through your images, and you get the best image every time. The optical zoom option reduces the distance between you and the subject and takes pictures with more clarity and precision. The recorded videos are stored with H.264 compression in a .MOV container. It supports SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slots for storing videos and images.
The Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS Digital Camera includes a true optical image stabilization system which reduces blur from the images. Besides, it has aUSB 2.0 high speed data connector, Mini-HDMI or NTSC / PAL standard definition composite video etc. Its NB-6L lithium-ion rechargeable battery is good for 180 shots on a charge. It measures 101 x 55 x 25 mm and weight 185 gram with batteries. The Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS Digital Camera will be available at the price tag of $300 in March 2011 in the US market.
