Change the Video Type of your iTunes Media [How to]
You should notice that when you import a video file into iTunes then this video file stored in the Movies category automatically. If you want to change the video type of your iTunes Media on Mac OS X then how to change it. If you don’t know how to change the video type of your iTunes Media then simply follow the step by step instructions posted below using which you will be able to select the type of your iTunes video media such as Music Videos, Movies or TV Shows.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1. Simply click iTunes icon in the dock to launch it.
STEP 2. From the list of library categories on the left you have to choose Movies.
STEP 3. Now you have to select a video that has been placed incorrectly in the Movie category, then you have to hold the Control key and click it to bring up the context menu. Now simply click on Get Info from this menu.
STEP 4. Now from the popup window you have to select the Options tab.
STEP 5. Now using Media Kind dropdown you have to select media type of the video and then simply click OK button. For example select Music Video.
STEP 6. Now you can found the video in the Music category as you have selected Music Video as correct Media Kind. Now this video has left the Movies category.
