Grammarly to Check Grammar Errors in Office Documents
If you are more concerned about grammar errors, you should download Grammarly. Grammarly is a free Microsoft Office add-in that helps you in checking spelling and grammatical errors and ensures that your documents are edited properly before they are read by someone else. It’s a very useful proofreading and grammar checking tool that everyone should have attached to their MS Office.
Grammarly gets installed as a tab in menu bar and uses a powerful grammar checking technology. It basically finds the spelling and grammar mistakes in any Microsoft Office document and provides recommendations to improve it. It’s is compatible with MS Office 2003, 2007 and 2010.
Once you are done with your writing, simply click on the “Check Grammar” button and the add-in will automatically start checking and analyzing it online. Once it finishes the checking, it will give a comprehensive report on problems in spelling, grammar, plagiarism, vocabulary, etc. The report is quite comprehensive and detailed.
The only drawback is that it does not correct or rectify mistakes. However, you may subscribe to it by paying the subscription fee to correct the errors for you.

"The only drawback is that it does not correct or rectify mistakes. However, you may subscribe to it by paying the subscription fee to correct the errors for you." – So… Pointless then.
Why? The report about mistakes is still valuable – you can check if a document is good to go or if it needs another round of proofreading and editing. It tells you what the mistakes are and where they are – you only need to pay for correction, if you are not smart enough to correct them yourself
