As we all know, peeps now are looking for devices that can serves dual purpose that is you can use the device as smartphone and tablet, And for this 7-inch slate is a perfect march. A China based gadget maker have come with a new phablet with 7-inch display, in a budget price but adds more configurations in comparison to the other 7-inch tablet availed in the market. The new tablet or phablet goes by the name Chuwi VX3. This new device packs octa-core processor and other decent specs.

If you are one looking for a 7-inch tablet then you can add the tablet to your wish list. The 7-inch slates are more preferable these days. Not all the budget tablet is offered with decent specs. Chuwi VX3 is an exemplary tab boasting commendable feature on the specs-chart and price list.

Specification-wise, the new Chuwi VX3 features a 7-inch FHD display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1200 IPS pixel. The tablet runs on Android v4.4 KitKat OS and packs 1.7 GHz operated octa-core Mediatek MTK6592 processor chip. In terms of memory, the phablet is offered with 2GB RAM, and 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded using microSD card support.

The 7-inch Chuwi VX3 slate is backed up by 3000mAh battery, offering a runtime up to 4 hours. In terms of connectivity, it comes with obvious options like Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB, Dual SIM (GSM and WCDMA) support. At the back side, it sports 8MP rear snapper for photography and video recording. It also comes with 2MP front-snapper for video calling and self portrait.

As aforementioned, the new Chuwi VX3 phablet is a budget device priced for $200. The device is available in China and other countries via e-retailers.

Earlier we discussed about the Asus FonePad 7 2014 which also features a 7-inch display (600 x 1024 pixels) and modest specs but less in comparison to the new Chuwi VX3. The Asus slate runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system when the new tablet offers latest Android OS. The processor in the tablet is 1.2 GHz clocked Dual Core Intel Atom Z2520 Clover Trail+ processor.

Memory-wise, FonePad 7 2014 embeds 1GB RAM, 4GB/ 8GB inbuilt storage that supports expansion with microSD card. It also comes with 0.3MP (VGA) camera and 2MP rear camera on the front and back side respectively. It also comes with front speakers and backed up by 15Wh Battery.

Where the price of Asus FonePad 7 2014 is still unknown the Chuwi VX3 is sold around $200. The new tablet is offered with some more than entry level features like Android 4.4.2 OS, eight core CPU, 3G, 2GB RAM all packed in a 7-inch body.
