defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-others -array-add ‘{ “tile-data” = { “list-type” = 1; }; “tile-type” = “recents-tile”; }’
STEP 3. To reboot your dock simply enter the following command:
killall Dock
STEP 4. Now you can see a stack of your applications that you have accessed recently.
