- Open your Windows 8 Start screen and click on your account picture that appears on the top right corner of the screen and then click on Change account picture. This will open the modern PC settings where you can change the user profile picture
- You can either browse your photos from hard disk or you can simply click on the camera to open Camera app
- Next, activate the video mode and make your own video
- Once done with the video, click OK to save the clip.
The maximum length of video for profile picture is limited to 5 seconds and if it goes beyond this, then it will be clipped automatically. Once done with the video recording, save the clip and make sure to wait for Windows to process and apply it.
You can see the new account video on the logon screen. For certain reasons, Windows doesn’t display the video clip on the Start screen.
