As we know iPhone backups includes useful information, personal data, account login details so it is necessary to encrypt the iPhone backups so that no one can access these backups. INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1. First you have to launch iTunes after connecting your iPhone to the computer.

STEP 2. Now in the iTunes sidebar you have to select iPhone and then scroll down to ‘Options’ under the “Summary” tab.

STEP 3. Now simply select the checkbox next to “Encrypt iPhone backup”.

STEP 4. Now you will be able to see a screen which will ask you to set an encrypted backup password.
