Cryptographic Text Converter to Encrypt Text Documents
Cryptographic Text Converter is a free text encryption app. You can use this app to save text documents in a password protected and encrypted format. By default the text files are saved in .tc format. After logging in, the encrypted data can be easily decrypted by a single click. This app uses 128-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) for encrypting the text.
When Cryptographic Text Converter starts for the first time, you will be prompted to setup a username and password. Once done, enter the desired text and hit the Encrypt button to encrypt it.
The text will be encrypted and displayed in 128-bit AES format. The text document can be saved either from the File menu or by clicking on the Floppy icon from the toolbar. Click the Decrypt button to decrypt the file.
The account password can be changed, by opening a text document and going to Account –> Change Password. You can get the cut, copy, paste and file saving options from the File and Edit menus. You can access the saved files (.tc) format only after providing the login credentials. Cryptographic Text Converterruns on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 OS platforms. It’s a freeware that can be downloaded from here.
