ISO Workshop lets you Extract, Backup, Convert, & Burn ISO Files
ISO is the most common image format available on the internet. This image format can be used to create copies of optical discs, including, CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays. As it is not stored in a file container, anyone can create exact same copy of optical disc in ISO format. To make this task much easier, here comes ISO Workshop. This all-in-one utility lets you convert ISO into various image formats. You can burn ISO image to CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray disc.
The main interface includes 4 options such as:
Extract: You can extract the ISO images with ISO Workshop. First select a locally stored ISO image, then click on the Extract button. It will extract the image and copy the files and folders to the same directory. Unfortunately you won’t find an option to change the target directory for the extraction.
Backup: This option lets you create a backup from discs that are inserted into optical drives. You can create CD, DVD and Blu-Ray ISO images. But still it is unclear that whether it can backup copy protected discs or only unprotected discs. Just insert the disc into the drive and select an output directory. Once selected, hit the backup button and the process will begin.
Convert: You can convert image formats to ISO or BIN. This tool supports all major formats including nrg, img, mdf, dmg or cdi. Select the image (that you want to convert) via the built-in file browser. In the process, automatically the name of the destination image is added. You can make changes to the name or select a different target directory on the computer.
Burn: First select the disc image via the file browser. Then you can select one of the CD, DVD or Blu-Ray burners to burn the image to disc. A disc verification and test writes are supported by this program. You can easily burn ISO image to CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray disc. But before the burning process, make sure that inserted optical disc is erased. If it is not, then click Erase to completely erase the disc followed by Burn to burn specified ISO file to optical disc.
