Recovering deleted yahoo accounts is not a easy process at all. The best way to protect your Yahoo! account is to take maximum care of your account. You really can’t expect Yahoo customer service agents to guide you in this type of situations as you are the persons who has to take care of your account. Also remember that account deletion means your complete account removal from Yahoo’s database.
Whenever you delete your account by visiting Yahoo account deletion page, they remove your account from all their services. This means that you will no longer have access to yahoo! services like Geocities, Yahoo mail ad any other Yahoo services associated with your account. If you are using any premium Yahoo services, mind to cancel those subscriptions, else you might be getting charged also.
Yahoo does not provide any guarantee or assurance of restoring your account. However you should try for a couple of times by contacting Yahoo help section. If you are not the person who deleted your account or you think someone misused your account, then feel free to write yahoo customer service to restore your account.
In most cases they don’t restore deleted accounts. But you might be the fortunate one to get back your deleted Yahoo account. If you don’t, you are always welcome to open an another account with them.

@ Rukhsana : I couldn't understand your sentence, sorry! But I assume that you have deleted all your mails from inbox and later deleted them from Trash too. Isn't that?
Since you are on Yahoo platform, deleted messages from Trash can't be recovered. It's a wise idea to transfer all your incoming mails to an another email account using email forwarding feature.
I have reactivated an old yahoo account of mine, but the emails cannot be restored, neither its giving access to compose new emails. However all contact list in messenger is intact. How do I get my emails? I have notified customer care.
@ Anil : I am not sure if you will have access to those emails or not. But since your account was inactive and you just restored it recently, it will take sometime to get fully functional. So, wait for sometime and your email account should work normally.
I have been able to recover my inactive yahoo mail ID "sandeep_miglani2003@yahoo.co.in". The mail box is recovered with only "contacts". My all MAILS " In Inbox and Sent " is empty. Can you help me in suggesting ways to recover those mails.

It is a common problem to lose email, password, etc.
1. Some of your login/email information is available in temporary internet files. So, you need to find out where your temporary internet files are. Typically this is available in the tools menu of your web browser. On my Internet Explorer, I can find it from Tools->Internet Options->Browsing History->Settings->Current Location. On my computer, my temporary internet files are in "C:UsersXYZAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet Files". Write this exact location/path down – no misspellings. If there is a forward or backward slash at the end of this location, write it down WITHOUT the ending forward or backward slash. On my computer, I wrote down "C:UsersXYZAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet Files" . Notice that I wrote down this location without the ending backward slash. (This part is important.)
2. Start biterscripting . (If you don't have it already, download it free from http://www.biterscripting.com .)
3. Copy and paste the following command on biterscripting command line – all on one line – exactly as shown – no misspellings.
scr SS_FindStr.txt dir("C:UsersXYZAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet Files") files("*") str("@gmx.com") > "C:/x.txt" ; system start "C:/x.txt"
Note that although I am using "C:UsersXYZAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet Files", you should be using whatever you wrote down in step 1. Also, although I am using "@gmx.com" as the search string, you should use an appropriate search term for your search – such as @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, etc.
It will take some time for the above commmand to complete and come back (about 1 hour for me), but once done, it will open a text file for you. It will list various files and search strings it found in temporary internet files. You will find all kinds of interesting information in there. Using Edit->Find or CTRL-F, try to locate your search string ( @gmx.com in my example ).
Your ability to find things this way is limited only by two factors.
1. How much information is on your computer.
2. How well you follow these instructions.

My husbands email account was deleted, apparently by yahoo. It most likely was due to controversial political posts that were made. But we do have a free country still dont we? doesn't that include the freedom of speech?
