HTC 10, the Taiwanese made smartphone made its new color variant debut in the eastern Asian country. We are talking about the awaited and exclusive Camellia Red edition which is now flaunting in Japan with its Major mobile carriers. Japan will be launching the gadget with slight changes in the specification. Well we all know HTC 10 adds to the high end devices and is an expensive phone. The new Camellia Red variant is tagged around $810 or 90000 yen.
The edition surely looks drop dead gorgeous adorning the red color. Folks if you waited for the HTC 10 Camellia Red colour edition then here is your opportunity to grab the exclusive unit from the Japanese carriers. KDDI will be sending out the units probably around 15 June.
As per the specifications, the HTC 10 packs 5.2-inch Display flaunting a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. On the software front, the handset is running on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 9 mm and weighs about 161 grams.
On the hardware board, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 SoC, Adreno 530. Memory-wise, the handset is offered with 4 GB RAM, 32/64 GB inbuilt storage and microSD card support upto 200GB.
In terms of imaging, the unit packs 12MP/ 5MP rear and secondary camera. Connectivity-wise, the handset supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, FeliCa, microUSB, etc. It is backed up by Li-Ion 3000mAh Non Removable battery.
Available colour variants are Gold, Grey and Camellia Red. The price is bit heavy on the pocket and quite justifying as per the specs-sheet. After Japan we expect the Red colour to hit other Major Asian markets like China, Taiwan, etc. We will keep you posted upon further updates so stay tuned.
