After teasing for weeks, the alleged Desire 8 from the makers of desire series is all set to announce the smartphone this February. HTC will unveil the Desire 8 smartphone officially coming Monday. HTC Desire 8 has been in news for weeks. Few days earlier we learned about few of its specifications from the leaks that surfaced. With the introduction of HTC Desire 8, HTC adds yet another Desire smartphone to its Desire series.
Specifications-wise, the new HTC Desire 8 runs on latest Android KitKat OS v4.4.2 topped with with HTC Sense 6 and the processor powering the smartphone is quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz in Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 chipset. The smartphone flaunts 5.5-inch Touchscreen display boasting 720p resolution. In memory terms, the Desire handset boards 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of onboard storage that can be expanded using microSD card support.
In terms of imaging, Desire 8 sports 13 MP rear snapper with LED Flash and other essential camera elements for photography and video calling. The front panel equips a 5 MP front snapper for video chats and self portrait. In terms of connectivity, the high-end smartphone is facilitated with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, etc.
