HTC Sensation Smartphone – Review
The most awaited Smartphone from HTC is here for a grab. HTC is continuously proving itself as the best ever by its outings of the highly developed Smartphone’s. The ‘Sensation’ is HTC’s first dual-core Smartphone along with a new version of HTC Sense Interface. HTC has maintained its crowning quality to build up this latest handset which is otherwise called as HTC Pyramid. This handset is impressively designed with a unibody aluminum chassis, with its SLCD touch display and qHD. Lets discuss about the HTC Sensation in detail.
Display & Design:
The HTC Sensation is enabled with a 4.3-inch (109 mm) touch screen display which resembles qHD (540 X 960) pixels display resolution. This handset is 6mm tall and only 11.3mm wide. It measures for a dimension of 126.1mm x 65.4mm x 11.3mm or 4.96″ x 2.57″ x 0.44″ and has a weight of 148 grams (5.22 ounces) with battery. The device runs on an Operating System of Android with HTC Sense Platform along with the latest version of HTC as 3.0 user interface. This Smartphone is powered by a Dual core, Qualcomm MSM 8260, 1200 MHz CPU Processing Unit. HTC prohibits the use of custom ROM but you can have an access to download app launchers from the Android Market. It has internal phone storage of 1 GB, 768 MB RAM support and is compatible with a microSD memory card slot (SD 2.0 compatible) for memory expansion. It comes supported with both the Wireless and USB tethering as a default setting. Its battery ensures with a Talk time of up to 400 minutes (WCDMA) and up to 495 minutes (GSM) where as it provides a Standby time of up to 400 hours (WCDMA) and up to 350 hours (GSM). The battery comes installed in the HTC Sensation and there is a thin film comes inserted between the battery and the compartment which is needed to be removed before the battery is charged. This battery must be charged with the use of the power adapter and USB sync cable which comes provided in the box. While the battery is being charged there is a notification of LED which reflects a solid orange light and when the battery gets fully charged the light turns to solid green.
