There is a new high end smartphone in the market. We are talking about the new Huawei smartphone that goes by the name Mate S. The latest release is different from the earlier launched Huawei gadgets with its Force Touch screen. Huawei Mate S sports 5.5-inch Display, Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 935 processor, 3GB RAM, 13MP rear snapper and Android Lollipop OS with Emotion UI 3.1. Folks in Europe will be lucky to grab the unit starting 15th September.
The device will be arriving in more than 30 countries including potential markets. Huawei Mate S is a high-end smartphone with impressive features. If you are a Huawei or high range smartphone then you can favor the unit.
As per the specs-sheet, the new release Huawei Mate S sports AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display flaunting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It measures 149.8 by 75.3 by 7.2mm and weighs about 156grams. It is running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 OS.
On the hardware board, Mate S is offered with Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 935 processor with Mali-T628 MP4 as its graphics unit. In terms of memory, the smartphone packs 3GB RAM, and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB internal storage and additional storage via microSD card up to 128GB.
Huawei Mate S features 13-MP rear facing camera with dual-tone LED flash, OIS and autofocus for photography and video recording. For the secondary camera, the handset sports 8MP front snapper with LED flash. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, microUSB, GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by 2,700mAh battery life. There is a Hybrid Dual SIM slot where the second slot can be used for microSD card + SIM card.
Mate S offers Huawei Knuckle Sense software. Users can just launch the Apps by simply drawing letters on the display or crop and copy images by simply outlining.
As per the pricing, the new Huawei Mate S is tagged for 649Euros for 32GB variant that comes in Titanium Grey and Mystic Champagne colors. For the 64GB variant, it costs 69 Euros and painted in Prestige Gold and Coral Pink colors.
Not to forget, the new Force Touch screen technology inbuilt in the gadget. The tech senses pressure of your finger or tap and functions.
