Custom ROM of Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread is now available for HTC Tattoo. Currently custom ROM of Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread is under development just like most of the custom ROM. So that lots of android features will not work just like FM, Camera, G-Sensor, GPS, Compass and other stuff currently not working. But some features like Bluetooth, WiFi, USB mass storage, Lights, Sound, and Vibrate are working. All the bugs will be fixed over a period of time.
If you want to play with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on your HTC Tattoo then you can follow the step by step instructions posted below in order to install Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread on your HTC Tattoo. Remember you should proceed at your own risk.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1. First you have to download nFinityGB-0.1.zip (68.74 MB) [As this is Custom ROM of Android 2.3.1 for HTC Tattoo, Click]
STEP 2. Now you have to copy the downloaded ROM into the SD card of your phone.
STEP 3. Now you have to turn off and reboot your HTC Tatoo/Click into Recovery mode.
STEP 4. Now you have to select “Wipe data & cache” option in the Recovery mode.
STEP 5. Then apply “nFinityGB-0.1.zip”.
STEP 6. Now you have to reboot your device.
That’s it. Now you should have the Custom ROM “nFinityGB” installed on your HTC Tatoo or Click. In this way you can install Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread on your HTC Tattoo.
