iOS 6.1 Beta 5 Released for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

If are an Apple developer, then you will be happy to know that now you can test a new beta version of iOS 6.1. Apple has released iOS 6.1 Beta 5 for developers. This beta version of iOS 6.1 is not recommended for all iOS device users. After installing iOS 6.1 beta 5 on your iOS device, you will not be able to downgrade back your iOS device to the previous firmware. It supports iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 5G, iPod touch 4G, iPad 4, iPad 2, iPad mini and new iPad.

The 5th beta version of iOS 6.1 can be considered as the GM build of iOS 6.1. iOS 6.1 beta 5 has fixed various bugs available in the 4th beta version of iOS 6.1. iOS 6.1 beta 5 is available in iOS Dev Center. iOS 6 beta 4 was released on 17th of December. iOS 6 beta 3 was released on 3rd of December. If you have installed iOS 6.1 beta 2 on your iPhone, you must have seen the improved welcome screen of Passbook app on your iPhone. You can also book movie tickets using Siri. iOS 6.1 beta 1 was released on 1st of November. Now you can install iOS 6.1 Beta 5 on your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. If you want to install iOS 6.1 beta 5 on your iPhone, then you have to register in Apple developer account. It will cost you $99 per year.
