The Chinese smartphone maker has finally launched its 5-inch smartphone in India. The September announced Lenovo S580 has made its debut in the Indian Peninsula. The smartphone comes under the affordable price range. The smartphone sports 5-inch, Quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM and 13MP LED flash rear camera. The device is tagged priced at INR 8,999.

As per the specs-sheet, Lenovo S580 is running on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system that can be upgraded to KitKat. It features 5-inch HD display having a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It measures 139.8 x 69.9 x 8.1 mm and weighs about 129grams.
Under the hood, S580 is powered by Quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. In terms of memory, the device packs 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded using microSD card up to 32GB. The graphics on the device is controlled by Adreno 306 GPU.
On the imaging front, the Lenovo S580 sports 13-megapixel rear facing camera for photography and video recording. The handset also features 8MP front snapper for video calls and selfies. In terms of connectivity, the S580 supports 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB, etc. The battery used in for backup is 2150mAh power. It supports Dual SIM.
As per the pricing, the handset is tagged for INR 8,999 on India’s one of the most popular e-retailer Snapdeal.
