OPENwebRadio to Listen Radio Station in your Default Media Player
There are many cool internet radio apps available for download. But here comes an incredible app, OPENwebRadio. It’s a portable app that lets you search and play radio stations by a selecting country and genre. It lets you listen to Internet radio and has the ability to add your favorite stations. Now you can find your favorite stations from any part of the world, without tuning channels that may not be in the desired language.
To get started with it, first select a continent followed by a country or select the music category followed by a preferred genre. Then OPENwebRadio will display all the relevant stations for the specified category.
Now select the station that you want to listen and click on the Play button. This way you can listen to the chosen radio station in your default media player. Isn’t it cool?
When you select the music category, a wide range of choices for stations related to music, news, religion, etc. are displayed. But the sad part is that, you cannot record radio stream casts, however, it sort channels by country and preferences.
Currently OPENwebRadio supports more than 4000 channels worldwide. The developer are planning to add more channels. It’s a freeware, compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7. You can download it directly from here.
