Moto G4 Play sets for US debut

Moto G4 Play was launched last month and went on to several countries. But folks in US can now have their hands on the Moto G4 Play. The handset is set under Pre-order tag. The mid high end gadget is available for just $149.99. But the US carrier Verizon brings the handset for just $84.99, if you are Verizon certified user. The unit features 5’’ display, quad core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 8MP rear snapper and Marshmallow OS. It adds to the mid end with decent features and affordable price tag.

Talking about the specs-sheet, Moto G4 Play sports 5-inch display having a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels. On the software front, the handset runs on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It measures 144.4 x 72 x 9.9 mm and weighs about 137grams.

On the hardware board, the unit is powered by quad-core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. The memory board comprises of 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card for additional storage.

For photos and videos, the handset features 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash for photography and video recording. The handset also comes along with a 5 MP selfie snapper for video chats and self portrait. For connectivity, the smartphone comes with usual options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, A-GPS/GLONASS, etc. It is backed up by 2,800 mAh battery.
