Moto Z Play to hit shelves for 30K

Moto handset makers bring the high end gadget to the market. The latest addition is dubbed as Moto Z Play. The smartphone is the absolute choice for those who are looking for a high end device. Z play features 5.5-inch display, octa core CPU, 3GB of RAM, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, 16MP rear camera and Fingerprint sensor. It comes with a whooping price tag of INR 29999.

As per the specs-sheet, Moto Z Play sports 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. On the software front, the handset is running Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. The dimensions of the gadget are as follows 156.40 x 76.40 x 6.99 mm and weighs about 165 grams.

Under the hood, the Moto Z Play is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz. The handset comes with Adreno 506 Graphics card. On the memory board, the unit is offered with 3GB of RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and expandable memory up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Talking about the camera features, the new Z Play offers 16 megapixel rear snapper with dual-tone LED flash, Laser Autofocus, PDAF, 1.3um pixel, f/2.0 aperture for video and photography. For the selifie snapper, it comes with 5MP front shooter with Wide-Angle lens, and LED flash. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. It is backed up by 3510mAh battery with Turbo charging. It also carries fingerprint sensor and water resistant nano coating and dual SIM. Black and white are two color variants available on the gadget.

As per the pricing, the new Moto Z Play comes with a tag of INR 29999, while its sibling comes with a price tag of INR 39999 i.e. Moto Z.
