It’s time for another India grown Company to launch Android Smartphones. The popular Telecom Service Provider MTS has released a new smartphone in India that goes by the name MTS Blaze 4.5. The smartphone features 4.5-inch display, houses 1GB RAM, Quad-core CPU, and interesting specs at an affordable price. Further details on its specs-sheet are hereby illustrated.

Folks in India have a lot of craze for the budget smartphones. After Micromax, Karbonn, Intex, etc MTS is all set to launch its latest Android smartphone at an affordable price range i.e. 10k.

Talking about the specifications, MTS Blaze 4.5 runs on Android v4.1.2 OS (old version which might disappoint consumers) and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor in Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The MTS handset features 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. Memory-wise, the smartphone houses 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage that can be expanded using microSD card support up to 32GB. The device dimensions are 133 x 66 x 11mm.

MTS Blaze 4.5 sports 5MP rear facing camera for photography and video recording. It also equips 0.3MP front facing camera for video chats and selfie. As per the connectivity, the MTS smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, USB 2.0, EVDO Rev A, etc. The handset packs a 1600 mAh battery. It also comes with dual SIM (CDMA/GSM) support.

Besides the blunder of launching the handset with older version of Android, MTS has packed new features in the smartphone. MTS introduces Piano lock in the new MTS Blaze 4.5. Users need to play any three piano keys to lock and do the same to unlock the handset.

The MTS Blaze 4.5 seems an interesting handset and is priced at INR 9,999 with this it will face a stiff competition with the other local handsets around similar price range.
