Do you own a OnePlus X handset? Then here is piece of good news for the smartphone users. The handset will finally see OS update. OnePlus X is receiving Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
Talking about the update, the OnePlus X will get an Over the air update and get OxygenOS 3.1.2 version. See your device if its already receiving OTA update.
Coming to the specs- sheet round up, OnePlus X Champagne Edition sports 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display having a resolution of 1080p. It runs on Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It measures 40.00 x 69.00 x 6.90 and weighs about 138 grams.
on the hardware board, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 801 SoC. In terms of memory, the handset packs 3GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and microSD card support for additional storage.

Few things to keep in mind before you go for a Security update on the device.
