Its now providing 3G services to its users by default, this does mean that you do not need to replace your existing SIM with a new one as it automatically gets upgraded, in most part of India. Now Reliance GSM and Reliance CDMA users can enjoy faster browsing, video calls, mobile TV, rich games on your handset after subscribing to it’s affordable tariff rates.
However, the automatic up-gradation of your SIM card does not grant you the access to use Reliance 3G features. You actually have to configure your handset with Reliance 3G settings. You can use the following settings on your handset and start enjoying all 3G offerings.
Reliance 3G Settings for Mobile Phones

- Service Name: RNet
- Homepage: google.com (or any website of your choice)
- Proxy: No
- Proxy Server Address: Leave it blank
- Port: Leave it blank
- User Name: Leave it blank
- Password: Leave it blank
That’s it. These settings can be used on all mobile phone handsets including Nokia, Samsung, LG, Spice, Micromax, HTC, Motorola, Carbon, Josh, Sony Ericsson, i-Mate, Dopod, O2, BlackBerry, Sagem, Haier, Palm, HP, Fly, Videocon, Lava, i-Ball, Dell, Techcom, etc.
