Repair Damaged Zip Files with AutoUnpack
Most of the times a set of downloaded archive packages carry voids, incomplete binaries and other problems which force you to unpack the archive correctly. I would suggest you to use AutoUnpack, that can correct errors in downloaded archive files. It basically uses PAR2 mechanism (famous successor of PAR1) to verify completion of downloaded files. If AutoUnpack detects unfinished binaries it uses the PAR to rebuild the archive filling the voids. It immediately fixes the incomplete binaries.
Before using the software, you need to specify archive folder (source) and a location where archives are to be extracted. Press the ‘Start’ button and it will start scanning the folder for zip files. After finding a new archive in specified source folder, it will start listing them down in the main interface. Now you can click Start to begin unpacking the archives.
After all the archives are processed (unpacked or repaired), it moves the file to the Recycle Bin. AutoUnpack allows you to change this removal behavior and customize other general options from Settings window. You can see detailed reports and statistics of each and every unpacking and repairing.
AutoUnpack runs on all Windows OS and you can download it from the given link: Download AutoUnpack 4.5.2.
