We had already rooted ASUS Transformer Prime on Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb Using NachoRoot , so you can have a look into it. All thanks to XDA dev to offer the rooting material that can run automatic program to root Transformer Prime TF201 & TF101. This root is bit different than our normal rooting methods, as it need a bit of arrangements before we begin the rooting or unrooting the device. We are not scaring you at all and it is not difficult to perform, so there is a tutorial right below in simple words.

Note: Techcular will not be responsible for any mishap or data loss, so go through the steps below at your own risk.

Step 1: The bootloader of your Transformer Prime must be unlocked by using the ASUS’s tool.

Step 2:  Now download viperMOD PrimeTime v4.5.zip for Windows / viperMOD PrimeTime v4.5.zip for Linux. Follow the Link for any new version out after this article has been published.

Step 3: After the download is complete, extract the zip file through Winzip for better extraction.

Step 4: Set ADB in your system and install the drivers, if you haven’t already set the ADB then install the drivers which are found in Drivers folder in the extracted zip file.

Step 5: It is very important that you must disable ASUS Sync and Splashtop.

Step 6: After all setup complete, enable USB Debugging in your Transformer Prime from Settings-> Applications-> Development.

Step 7: Via USB cable connect your device to computer.

Step 8: Now run the ‘viperMOD PrimeTime.exe’ and choose to root your device and then install Busybox plus flash ClockworkMod Recovery.

Step 9: Now your device is rooted.

Step 10: Lastly, install the OTA Root Keeper.
