Samsung Chromebook Surfaced in India sporting 11.6” Display

Were you waiting for the arrival of Samsung Chromebook in India? Here is good news for you. Google announced the arrival of Samsung Chromebook in India quoted with a price of INR 26,990. After releasing Acer and HP Chromebooks in October, Google has finally released the Samsung Chromebook. The Samsung Chromebook sports 11.6-inch display and is powered by Samsung Exynos 5 dual processor. Details on its specs-sheet are discussed ahead in the article.

Samsung Chromebook that is now available for purchase in India is priced at INR 26,990 and is available across seven cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore.

Coming to the specs-sheet, Samsung Chromebook runs on Chrome OS and the processor packed is Samsung Exynos 5 dual core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The Chromebook features 11.6-inch LCD display having a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. Memory-wise, the notebook comes with 2 GB and 16GB Hard Drive. It also offers expandable memory via microSD card support.

The Samsung Chromebook sports 0.3MP VGA webcam. For connectivity, the notebook is facilitated with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, audio jack, etc. To power the device it comes with 4080 mAh that offers 6.5 hr runtime. It weighs 1.1kg and is just 17.5mm thin.

This is the third chromebook to be launched in Indian Market. It comes with Chiclet type Keyboard and also offers 100 GB Google Drive Cloud Storage for 2 years.
