How to Save or Download Videos from Facebook Easily



Facebook is the largest social networking sites in the world. People use it for many different reasons, however if you use it to watch Facebook videos, you should be glad to know that you can download Facebook videos easily without using ant tool. All you have to do is watch the video using your web browser and then save it from your computer’s cache. Confused! Let’s know how to save Facebook videos step by step.

How to Save Facebook Videos

Save Facebook videos on Internet Explorer

  1. Watch the full video on Internet Explorer first. Wait till it gets finished.
  2. Once video is completed, head to Tools >> Internet Options >> Settings >> View Files
  3. You can find a large sized file there with unknown file type and long file name.
  4. Copy that file and paste in a reachable location on your computer, ex : desktop, my documents etc
  5. Rename that file to something with .flv extension, ex : FacebookVideo.flv
  6. Play this video using VLC Media Player or FLV player.
  7. You are done.

Save Facebook Videos on Firefox


  1. Watch the full video on Firefox browser first.
  2. Navigate to C:\ >> Documents and Settings >> USER >> Local Settings >> Application Data >> Mozilla >> Firefox >> Profiles
  3. Follow steps 3 – 6 from above tutorial
  4. You are done.

That’s it. Saving Facebook videos on your computer was never so easy. Now whenever you like a video on Facebook, download it on to your computer and enjoy.

  2. The cache directory on Linux, using Mozilla Firefox, is located at: ~/.mozilla/firefox/session.default/Cache

    I can download all videos for just 1 second!. Just copy-paste video url and than click “get it” than it gives you downloading link!. That’s all.
