Three gadgets are receiving Security update in August (well better late than never). Well the gadgets receiving the OTA update are Samsung Galaxy J5, J5 (2016) Edition and S3 Neo. Folks in Europe are lucky enough to receive security patches to fix errors in the gadget. The security updates are rolled over the Air. If you own one of these gadgets then go forward with the update.
The July Security Update for the gadgets take upto 90MP space on the handset so make sure to keep some space free for the OTA update. Check out your gadgets to see whether your handset has received the update yet or not. You can also go for manual update if there is no update notification.
Tap on Phone Settings > About phone > Update center > System updates > Check for update.
Few things to keep in mind before you go for an Security update on the device.
1- Check whether enough space is available on the gadget required for the update. The new OS or software version will need few MB locations on the gadget so make sure you have enough space for the OTA upgrade.
2- Check your Wi-Fi or Internet Connection. The internet connectivity should be strong enough.
3- If your device holds Backup options then you can go for it in case there is failure or something goes wrong during the update then you can retrieve your valuable information and details.
