Sony is bringing its IFA 2016 phone to United States. The Berlin event showcased several handsets and Xperia XZ is one of them. The smartphone sports 5.2-inch display, quad core CPU, 3GB of RAM, Android v6.0 Marshmallow OS, 23MP rear snapper and Fingerprint sensor. The handset is going to be a high end gadget with a price tag of 699.99USD.
Specification-wise, the new Sony Xperia XZ features 5.2-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with Triluminos Display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. On the software front, the smartphone is running on Android v6.0 Marshmallow OS. The dimensions read 146.00 x 72.00 x 8.10 mm and weighs about 161 grams.
Under the hood, the handset is powered by Quad-Core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. On the memory board, the unit is offered with 3GB of RAM, 32GB/ 64GB internal storage and microSD card slot for additional storage.
On the imaging front, the Sony Xperia XZ features 23MP primary camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive Hybrid AF, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording for videos and photography. There is a secondary camera, the device packs 13MP front snapper for video chats and selfies with 1/3” Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens, 1080p video recording. It is backed up by2900 mAh Battery with Adaptive Charging technology powered by Qnovo.
