Suppliers Started Shipping 4-Inch Screens for Next Generation iPhone
Recently iLounge has reported that the 5th generation iPhone will come with 4 inch screen and iPad 3 will come with high resolution Retina display. Now we came to know that suppliers have started shipping 4-inch screens for the 5th generation iPhone and LCD displays for the 3rd generation iPad. According to Japanese blog Macotakara, Sony and Hitatchi have started shipping 4-inch displays for new iOS device and panels for iPad 3. Macotakara does not provide any information about the iOS device in which the 4 inch displays will be used. It is expected that the 4 inch displays will be used in iPhone 5.
This year lots of people were expected that Apple will launch iPhone 5 but Apple has launched iPhone 4S in place of iPhone 5. According to the sources, Apple will use metallic casing in iPhone 5 and it will be launched in the summer of 2012. The 5th generation iPhone will include larger display than the iPhone 4S. The screen size of iPhone 5 will be 4 inch while the screen size of iPhone 4S is 3.5 inch. iPhone 5 will come with 10 megapixel camera, aluminum back, faster processor, messed up color profile, Siri named as ‘Assistant’. Recently Business Insider has reported that iPhone 5 was scrapped a few months before the announcement of iPhone 4S and it was existed as a prototype. They have received this information from an industry source.
According to the sources of iLounge, the 3rd generation iPad will come with high resolution Retina display and it will be launched in the March of 2012. iPad 3 will be thicker than the 2nd generation iPad and thinner than the 1st generation iPad. The thickness of iPad 2 is 8.8 mm and the thickness of 1st generation iPad is 13.4 mm. Apple will use dual light bar system in iPad 3 for the higher resolution display. Due to this dual light bar system, iPad 3 will be 0.7 mm thicker than the 2nd generation iPad. You should note that the last project of Steve Jobs before his death was iPhone 5. So it is expected that Apple will surprise everyone by launching redesigned iPhone 5 in 2012.
