Umi London with Dual Protected Screen for 70USD

Chinese gadget maker once again drops a new handset. Well we are talking about UMI. They have announced anew gadget that is dubbed as Umi London. The smartphone features 5-inch display, Quad core MediaTek MT6580 chipset, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, 1GB RAM and other decent features. Well the smartphone adds to the budget series. The handset draws eye with its unique display. The makers claim the handset screen can sustain even if it is dropped from certain height. umi london

Specification-wise, Umi London sports 5-inch IPS touchscreen display having a resolution of 720 by 1280pixels, with 294ppi pixel density and protected by dual Glass Twin-Shield Technology. On the software front, the handset runs on Android v6.0 Marshmallow OS. It measures 114.93 x 71.58 x 8.55 mm and weighs about 160 grams.

On the hardware front, the Umi London is powered by Quad core processor with MediaTek MT6580 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz. The GPU card embedded is the Mali 400. In terms of memory, the handset is offered with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card for additional storage upo to 32GB.

For photography and video recording, Londo packs 8MP primary facing camera with autofocus, IMX149 sensor and LED flash. There is a secondary camera of 2-megapixel with the GC2365 image sensor for self portrait and video chats. Connectivity-wise, the handset supports include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, microUSB port, etc. It is powered by SONY 2050mAh Li-Po battery.

The handset flaunts in three colours like White, Black, and Gold, under the aluminum hood. As discussed then UMI London is budget handset and is tagged priced for just at $69.99. The smartphone features decent specs that go well with the price tag. We are not sure about its availability in other Asian country.
