How to Unlock and Activate Chinese Mobile IMEI Number Online
Indian mobile users who were using Chinese mobile handsets with fake IMEI numbers will get no signal on their phones after 11.59 PM, 30th November 2009. However, users can get a new IMEI number implanted on their blocked handsets and start using the blocked handsets again. Changing the IMEI number will cost Rs. 199 only and there have been more than 1600 outlets opened all over India to provide GII program (Genuine IMEI Implantation Program).
What is IMEI Number?
IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity and this number is unique to every GSM, CDMA and iDEN mobile phones. You can check the IMEI number of your mobile handset by pressing *#06# keys on your mobile handset.
Understanding the IMEI Number
IMEI number is a 15 digit code and can be analysised in AAAAAA-BB-CCCCCC-D manner, where :
AAAAA – Type of the phone
BB – Manufacturing country code
CCCCC – Phone serial number
D – IMEI Verifier
Unlocking Blocked IMEI Numbers
Not all phones have got fake or duplicate IMEI numbers and hence you need to check the IMEI number originality status first. If you find it legitimate, then there is no need to worry. But if you find it fake and it has already got blocked, then you need to unblock or activate it again.
Using GII program, one can implant a new IMEI number on blocked phones. You can visit to a retail outlet and ask for a new IMEI number implant. It takes less than 15 minutes and Rs. 199.00 only to activate a new IMEI number on blocked Chinese mobile handsets. There is no way to unlock or activate blocked IMEI numbers online.

@ Sandeep : Since there are a lots of people trying to get a new IMEI number implanted on their blocked handsets, server might act very busy. Contact the outlet again.
@ Wasee Mahammad, Govind, Thaheer, : This can be possible if your handset is using two different IMEI numbers for different SIMs. Get the blocked IMEI number replaced by a genuine one by visiting any nearest GII outlet.
@ Narendra, Jemy, Shyam, Subbu, Sanu, Manish : Visit any nearest GII outlet and implant a new and genuine IMEI number.

Hi,I am using a DUAL SIM TOUCH (D88) china mobile hand set which shows a vaild IMEI number. The number appears as under when dialling the request code *#06# as
IMEI:135790246811220 And I have confirmed the above IMEI numbers are valid IMEI numbers by messaging
the above numers to 53232 the service provider.
Now I am getting calls only on the SIM1 but on the SIM2 my hand set showing
invalid sim” message. And I am not getting calls and also not able to dial the calls
from SIM2. However I am able to call from SIM2Please resolve or suggest the remedy.

On seeing an Ad in news paper as directed in the Ad I sent a SMS to 53232 and received a confirmation : "Success: This IMEI belongs to BRAND SIGMATEL T33i MANUFACTURER: Yuceller Elektronik Dis Tic Ltd Sti"Source: MSAI. So I was happy on receiving the confirmation. But since last fortnight or so, my both the SIM connections have gone off and are not working. I went to local mobile outlets but they could not help me.
