Now-a-days mobile service providers are providing iPhones with a two or three year contract. This means you have to use their service for at least the contract period. You need to install a software on your iPhone. This will deactivate all those service provider locks on your phone and will activate your iPhone in such a way that you can use it with any network. The software is called iPhone Unlock Toolkit.
