The first offline launched handset from the Chinese handset makers is all official in Indian sub continent. We are talking about the new Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus. The device adds to the entry level series featuring 5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear snapper and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. Oct 1 marks the official sell with a price tag of INR 9,499. It is cheap yet packs decent features.

As per the specs-sheet, the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus features 5-inch display with 720 by 1280 pixels resolution. On the software front, the device runs on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It measures 139.30 x 69.60 x 8.50 and weighs about 144 grams.

On the hardware board, the handset is powered by octa core processor clocked at 1.1GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. On the memory board, the unit is offered with 2GB of RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and microSD card for additional storage.

In terms of imaging, the unit features 13 megapixel primary camera for photos and videos. There is a 5MP secondary camera for video chats and selfies. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS/GLONASS, 3.5mm audiojack etc. It is backed up by 4,100mAh battery. The unit sports fingerprint sensor.
