Chinese manufacturer ZTE has unveiled a budget unit in Thailand. The smartphone goes by the name ZTE Blade D2. The handset sports 5-inch display, quad-core Mediatek MT6735P chipset, 1GB RAM, and 4G LTE support out of the box. ZTE Blade D2 is a budget smartphone and folks in Thailand can enjoy this gadget as of now. Well the handset is budget but packs impressive 4000mAh battery life. Not to mention the device was announced MWC 2016.
There is no word on its release in other countries but we are sure that ZTE budget handset with massive 4000mAh battery will make its debut in other potential market.
As per the specs-sheet, the new ZTE Blade D2 sports 5-inch HD IPS LCD display having a resolution of 720p. It is running on Android v5.1 Lollipop OS. The unit measures 144 x 69.5 x 8mm and weighs about 155 grams.
Under the hood, the Blade D2 is powered by quad-core Mediatek MT6735P SoC ticking at 1.0 GHz. In terms of memory, the smartphone packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and microSD card support up to 64GB.
On the imaging section, the ZTE Blade D2 features 8MP rear facing camera with LED flash for video shooting and photography. There is a secondary camera of 2MP for video chats and selfies. Connectivity-wise, the unit supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB port. It is backed up by 4000mAh battery life which is impressive indeed.
As per the pricing, the smartphone is tagged priced at 26,90,000 VND that counts around $121USD.
