ZTE is a Chinese smartphone maker and well known around the globe. Well if you are thinking about its next arrival then you guess it right. ZTE launches couple of handset at the CES 2016. Smartphones go by the name ZTE Grand X 3 and Avid Plus. Both the devices are entry level and are priced affordably. Grand X 3 is a 5.5-inch display and Avid Plus sports 5-inch Display.
The new smartphones are all set for US debut via popular US carriers.
Coming to the specs-sheet, the ZTE Grand X 3 features 5.5-inch Display with a resolution of 720pixels. It is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Under the hood, the ZTE Grand X 3 is powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Memory-wise, the handset is offered with 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage and microSD support for additional storage.
For the imaging terms, Grand X 3 sports 8MP rear snapper for video recording and photography. On the front, the handset features 2MP front snapper for video chats and self portrait. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, microUSB, GPS/ GLONASS, microUSB, USB Type-C reversible port, etc. It is powered by 3,080 mAh removable battery life.
ZTE Avid Plus is the next handset launched. It sports 5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 210 clocked at 1.1GHz. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop OS. Memory-wise, the handset is offered with 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and microSD card support for additional storage.
In terms of imaging, ZTE sports 5MP rear facing camera for photos and videos. For the secondary camera, there is a 2MP front snapper for video chats and self portrait. It is backed up by 2,300 mAh battery life.
As per the pricing, the new ZTE Grand X 3 is tagged for $130USD and ZTE Avid Plus tagged for $115USD. No words on the availability in other countries. We will keep you updated upon further updates.
