The Chinese handset maker ZTE brings a new tablet that is a successor of the earlier launched ZTE Optik. The new tablet is dubbed as ZTE Optik 2 and features 7-inch display, 1GB RAM, and packs in quad-core processor. The tablet is launched via Sprint at an affordable price. ZTE Optik 2 Tablet Via Sprint Announced
Coming to the specs-sheet, ZTE Optik 2 tablet runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor embedded in Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8625Q chip. The tablet flaunts a 7-inch touchscreen display boasting a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. In memory terms, the tablet boards 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card. The tablet measures 7.6 x 5 x .45 inches and weighs about 377 grams.
Optik 2 tablet sports 5MP rear facing camera for still images and video recording. The tablet also equips 2MP front facing camera for video chats and self portrait. For Connectivity, ZTE Optik 2 is facilitated with 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The tablet packs a 4,000 mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery.
As aforementioned, ZTE Optik 2 is the successor version of years old Optik. The new tablet shows a bit modification in specs but Sprint offers the tablet at affordable deal. The new ZTE Optik 2 tablet is available for $29.99 on a two-year contract.
